Air fryer brownies are a delicious and easy treat to make. Here's a simple recipe to make tasty brownies using an air fryer:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) This temperature works well for most air fryers, but if yours has specific instructions for baking, follow those instead.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, sift the cocoa powder to remove any lumps. Add the sifted cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
5. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips to add extra chocolatey goodness to your brownies.
6. Grease a small baking pan that fits inside your air fryer basket. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
7. Place the baking pan in the preheated air fryer basket and cook the brownies for approximately 15-20 minutes. The exact cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the brownies; it should come out with moist crumbs but not wet batter.
8. Once the brownies are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
9. Serve the delicious air fryer brownies on their own or with a scoop of ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
